LUISA-MARIA MACCORMACK

FOUNDER / ARTISTIC DIRECTOR: Luisa-Maria MacCormack is an artist, lecturer, curator and cultural producer, and the Founder and Director of The Feminist Lecture Program. Through FLP she commissions and curates an international programme of feminist lectures, artist talks, exhibitions and public projects, as well as overseeing its growing digital archive and curatorial programme.

She is also a founding member of London Drawing Group, the artist-led education collective established in 2016. Across both organisations, Luisa has spent more than a decade developing accessible, artist-led approaches to public education. She has delivered lectures, workshops and public programmes for organisations including Tate, the National Gallery, the Hayward Gallery, the University of Cambridge and Cheltenham Literature Festival, and has appeared on BBC Radio 4 and Sky Arts.

Alongside this work, Luisa maintains a multidisciplinary art practice spanning drawing, sculpture and installation, with research moving through ecology, archaeology, ritual, the body and histories of science. She trained at the Royal Drawing School and holds an MA in Fine Art from City & Guilds of London Art School.

REBECCA DOUGLASS

PROGRAM AND COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR: Rebecca is an independent artistic researcher working across the creative sector under various guises. After completing her training in dance performance at London Contemporary Dance School, she began venturing into other versions of herself as writer, producer, and academic. Alongside her work with FLP, she is a performance critic for Springback Magazine, and is currently studying for her Research Masters in Artistic Research at the University of Amsterdam.
