The Feminist Lecture Program is an independent Feminist Education platform making university-level learning accessible outside traditional academic spaces.

In six years, we have created an accessible, radical and enriching space for learning, reaching tens of thousands of participants worldwide. Bringing together world-class academics, artists, writers and researchers from around for an ongoing programme of live lectures, talks and events exploring art, history, politics, ecology, science, medicine, gender, queer culture and much more.

OUR LIVE PROGRAMME

Our live programme is Pay What You Can, because we believe this kind of learning should be available beyond universities, institutions and expensive course fees.

With tickets starting from just £1, FLP can be joined online from anywhere in the world. Our lectures bring together academics, artists, writers, researchers and independent scholars across an enormous range of subjects, with most events also recorded so that you don’t have to be able to attend live to take part.

THE FLP ARCHIVE

Alongside our events, FLP is home to a growing archive of more than 100 lectures from across four years of our previous programming.

The Archive brings together research spanning feminist art history, queer culture, ecology, medicine, politics, mythology, science, popular culture and much more. Individual lectures can be revisited online, while our new FLP Archive Modules offer more structured routes through the material, bringing existing lectures together around particular themes and questions.

FLP CURATES

FLP Curates is the home of our curatorial and creative projects.

This is where FLP moves beyond the lecture format, developing exhibitions, artist projects, public programmes and collaborations that grow out of the research and conversations happening across the programme.

Our curatorial work began with the Nunhead Curatorial Program, and is now expanding into new exhibitions and collaborative projects.

BUILDING THE ARCHIVE

In 2026, we launched our first ever FLP crowdfunder to support the huge task of processing, digitising and uploading more than 80 previous lectures.

Thanks to the support of our incredible community, we reached our fundraising target, AND THEN SOME. That work is now underway, helping us turn years of lectures, research and reading lists into a long-term resource that can continue to be watched, studied and used well beyond the night each lecture originally took place.
