Since 2020, The Feminist Lecture Program has hosted an ongoing programme of Pay What You Can lectures, talks and special events, bringing together academics, writers, artists, researchers and independent scholars from across a huge range of subjects.

Our regular live lectures take place online via Zoom and are hosted by FLP founder Luisa-Maria MacCormack. Each event focuses on a different subject, with past programmes moving across art history, gender, politics, ecology, medicine, mythology, queer history, science, popular culture and much more.

Accessibility is central to how FLP works. Tickets to our live lecture programme are offered on a Pay What You Can basis, with a minimum price of £1. Most online events are recorded, and ticket-holders receive 7 days of access to the recording afterwards — so you don't have to be able to attend live to take part.

Alongside our regular lectures, we also programme artist talks, exhibitions, collaborations and occasional special events, both online and in person.

UPCOMING EVENTS *PROGRAM UPDATE!

Please note, we are taking a short break from our usual programming while we focus on a huge piece of work behind the scenes: processing, digitising and uploading over 80 lectures to the FLP archive.

Earlier this year we launched our first ever crowd-funder to help us tackle this mammoth task, and thanks to the support of our community we reached our target. Our regular weekly Monday program will therefore remain paused until January 2027 while we get stuck into the archive.

That said - we’re not disappearing in the meantime! This autumn we’re launching our first ever FLP Archive Module, alongside a handful of special talks, exhibitions and other projects while we experiment with new ways of using and sharing the research FLP has built over the years.

Our weekly live lecture programme returns in January 2027.
